I began creating stained glass in 1971, with my work evolving
from simple sun catchers to my present architectural style.
My designs are original and often organic, reflecting a
love of nature
Several
years ago, I began using old windows and antique cupboard
doors as inspirations for my work. The idea of looking through
an existing frame and seeing a new vision reflects the one
of a kind nature of my art.
Good
design and quality glass are key factors in creating a piece
of art which will be cherished and enjoyed for years. And
since light through glass evokes strong emotion, it becomes
necessary to understand the type of light available to your
specific environment.
I
also admit to being a lover of found objects and occasionally
find uses for treasured pieces of sea-glass, antique cut-glass,
shells, stones, or wire in my designs. |
