The Isolation series started in early March of 2020 when I drove to the mountains above Boulder, Co. to spend a few days with Mark, my sweet friend.  I'm still in the mountains, staying isolated and safe, and being happy as I create.  Isolation from the Pandemic doesn't isolate us from national politics, political movements such as Black Lives Matter or global warming.  The artist series is where I began but my age and being naturally mouthy has taken over and I have turned to using art to create political statements as I maintain my sanity.

Occasionally it all gets to be too much and I revert to something beautiful for the sheer joy of it all.
